The D Word

IT ALL STARTED WHEN…

Client after client came to me with credit card debt feeling ashamed, helpless, irresponsible, and behind. I realized how much we’ve been conditioned to believe that having debt makes us bad and that we are alone in our debt.

I put together this self-paced course to first help people reframe the way that they look at debt and create a strategy for paying off their debt in a sustainable way. Instead of throwing all of your money at your debt, only to have it accrue again, this program helps you create a lifestyle that fits within your budget so that you can pay your debt off slowly, over time - once it’s paid off, it stays paid off.

This course is for anyone looking for a sympathetic approach to money management that is rooted in being kind to yourself and making change from a place of alignment.

Here’s what you can expect:

Module 1: Find Your Why

If we don’t have a compelling reason for paying off debt, it is that much harder to make progress. Digging into your why from the get-go sets you up for success.

Module 2: Reframe Debt

The way we talk about, hear about, and look at debt can make us feel like WE are the problem. This module gives you an alternative perspective of debt - one that takes the pressure off of you and reminds you of how much more there is to life than the money you owe.

Module 3: Strategy (Part 1)

This module goes through all of the reasons why you may be in debt and provides reframes and alternatives so that once you have your debt paid off, you don’t fall back into old patterns.

Module 4: Strategy (Part 2) - Cash Flow

Understanding your numbers is crucial when it comes to debt payoff. All the mindset work in the world won’t help if you don’t know where your money is going. In this module, we go through my signature Roadmap Session worksheet to figure out exactly how much your life costs, so that we know how much we should be spending and saving each month and how much we can put toward debt without getting caught in the debt cycle (pay off debt —-> accrue more debt —> pay off debt).

Module 5: Debt Payoff Timeline

Now that we know how much we can put toward our debt, we can enter our numbers into the Debt Payoff Spreadsheet to see exactly when our debt will be paid off. Remember, slow and steady wins the race! You may pay more interest over time by paying your debt off slowly, but you will also be less likely to find yourself in debt again, plus, you will be creating a lifestyle for yourself that is sustainable.

Module 6: Maintenance

Once your debt is paid off, how does it stay paid off? This module goes through some general rules of thumb to follow to make sure that once you are debt free, you stay that way.

Bonus Module: Cash Flow for Entrepreneurs

This module is for you if you are a business owner or entrepreneur. We go through how to make sure you are accounting for business expenses properly and how to think about business investments, paying yourself, and more.

I’m on a mission for wealth to be in the hands of more heart-centered women. And once we pay off our debt, we will have more cash flow available for investing, growing our businesses, helping others, and creating the type of world we want to live in. Money in the hands of good people creates more good in this world.

If you are ready to make a change in your life, to see your money working for you, to invest in organizations that align with your values, paying off debt is the first step. Now is the time. I can’t wait to see you in The D Word.
